COIL Chinese Philosophy

The "Chinese Philosophy" - COIL Cooperative Online International Learning course, under the umbrella of the Asian Connections Program, joins two philosophy courses, one from UMB, one from National Chengchi University NCCU, Taiwan, together in an international learning experience. It is jointly run by Hilmar Schmiedl-Neuburg, UMB and Kai Marchal, NCCU. Within the program students study Chinese Philosophy together and work in mixed international groups on collaborative assignments. In addition to the learning about Chinese Philosophy, students gain intercultural experience, and learn international communication, cooperation and teamwork skills.
